A man who was on the railroad tracks was struck by a Penn Station-bound train on Long Island.

The incident took place in Suffolk County around 12:55 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24 on the tracks at the Brentwood Station, MTA officials said.

The individual was removed alive to an area hospital, the MTA said.

MTA police are investigating the incident.
